I like making book or movie posters of my friends.

Hi! My name is Harrison Xue, and I'm a junior advertising and French major at the University of Texas at Austin.

I enjoy storytelling through portrait photography, photo stories, or with Gigglepants, an improv group I'm part of on campus. I am interested in working in production, specifically cinematography and editing.

More importantly, I am very passionate about race in society, and have written my thoughts on being Chinese American, Asian integration in France, and race's role in "The Story of OJ" by Jay-Z.

My primary goal is to increase Asian American representation in media. Whether it be in TV, film, print, or photography, I want to foster a louder voice for Asian creativity.

I am currently in the media sequence at UT Austin, in order to better understand media placements, advertising research (ex. our brand safety study), creative  strategy, and budgeting, With these skills, combined with my passion for storytelling, I hope to further my pursuit in increasing Asian representation.

Lastly, if you want to look at other stuff I'm doing, take a look at my LinkedIn, BehanceInstagram, and resume.
